Aaron Gogs
Aaron Gocs is an Australian writer, comedian and stand-up comedy sensation. He has appeared in several works, but is best known for writing and appearing in Comedy Central’s Gocsy’s Classics in 2017. In this series, Gocs reimagines several classic television shows and recreates them to comic effect. He had guest appearances in shows such True Story with Hamish & Andy. He has appeared in other productions such as the 2018 comedy-drama film The Merger, in which he plays the character of Porterhouse. The film was critically acclaimed and exposed him to a wider audience. More recently, he appeared on the television series Internment in 2019, and in 2020, he joined the comedy lifestyle At Home Alone Together, contributing as a writer.
Alongside his career on television, he has built up a reputation as one of the best and most prolific stand-up comedians in Australia. His unique, quirky and anecdotal style has made him a mainstay in comedy clubs all over Australia, particularly Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. He has appeared frequently in comedy festivals, and is scheduled to be in the upcoming 2021 Melbourne International Comedy Festival. He has also began producing online content, posting shorts skits on YouTube, garnering more than 12 millions video views, as well as working with top online channels Vice and Triple J. In addition to this, he runs a podcast, I’m All Ears, which he co-hosts with Ben Searle.
